Stage Rehearsal Times

May 2nd at Walpole HIGH...NO COSTUMES...please arrive in dress code attire...Hair neatly pulled back

Please find your class times to see your arrival time for Stage Rehearsal at Walpole HIGH.

Please be punctual, we cannot hold for dancers who are running late! :)

Saturday 9:30AM First Position should arrive at 9:15AM. They will be finished at 9:45PM.

Saturday 10:15AM Ballet/Tap should arrive at 9:30AM. They will be finished at 10:00AM.

Thursday 2:30PM First Position and Sunday 10AM First Position should arrive at 9:45AM. They will be finished by 10:15AM.

Monday 2PM First Position AND Friday 10:00AM First Position should arrive at 10:00AM. They will be finished at 10:30AM.

Thursday K-1st B/T and Hip Hop should arrive at 10:00AM. They will be finished at 11:10AM

Monday K-1st B/T and Hip Hop should arrive at 10:40AM. They will be finished by 11:50PM

Friday Acro K-1st should arrive at 11:35AM. They will be finished by 12:05PM.

Tuesday 2-3rd Grade should arrive at 11:50AM. They will be finished by 12:45PM.

Wednesday 2-3rd Grade should arrive at 12:30PM. They will be finished by 1:25PM.

4-5th Grade, Middle School, and High School should arrive at 1:00PM. They will be finished with their group rehearsal at 3:15PM.

Things to Know for Performance Day

First Position - 3rd Grade: Please arrive with your dancer dressed in their costume ~ hair and make-up performance ready.

K-1st please arrive to recital in your Hip Hop Costume (or Tap costume if not in Hip Hop)
2-3rd please arrive in your Jazz Costume

K-3rd please arrive 15 min before the show begins.

4th-5th please arrive 30 min before the show begins.

Pre school - 1st Grade performers; Please Do Not bring anything extra
ie: toys, games, food, water bottle
*Performers in Both shows ~ water bottle & lunch is OK:)

Each class will have a designated area backstage with a chaperone assigned to them

The house will open 30 min before the performance begins

Backstage help will assist with costume changes etc. during the performance

Packing...students 2nd grade and up should bring a water bottle, make-up, hairspray, bobby pins, and safety pins and all of their dance shoes. Dancers in BOTH shows may bring food.

Please put your name on all of you costume pieces! It is a huge help during fast changes backstage! They all look the same!

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR STAGE REHEARSAL? ARE COSTUMES NEEDED?

No, costumes are not needed for Saturday's Stage Rehearsal. Please arrive to Stage Rehearsal in your class' dress code, hair neatly pulled back away from your face.

HOW LONG WILL THE RECITAL BE?

Both of our shows will run about 1 hour 15 min

SHOULD I BRING ANYTHING TO THE STAGE REHEARSAL OR RECITAL?

Nope! There is no need to bring anything, and this allows for easy pick up at the end of the show. Dancers in both shows- a water bottle and packed lunch is allowed. :)

How do I wear my hair?

Preschool-1st grade pulled back away from your face in any style with fly aways secured with bobby pins. 2nd-12th Grade in a nice neat middle ponytail with fly aways secured with hair spray and bobby pins

Do I have to wear make-up?

Make-up is optional but recommended.....Dancers do get washed out under the stage lights. Red lipstick shows up best on stage....pink disappears under the lights
